Today was a gorgeous cool day in Miami. There was nay a cloud in the sky and the day had a nectarous smell to it. Interestingly, almost instantly as I got in my car on the drive to my office, the aroma triggered a response from the depth of my assiduous brain where my child hood memories of playing F-Zero rested. I didn’t just remember being a kid, driving my tomato-green car I felt I was there: the scent, the freedom, the joy I felt being a young kid having the time of my life. It was inspiring.
This got me thinking: Have you had one of these experiences? What triggered it?
Rainy days make me want to play A Link to the Past on the SNES.
There is something about the smell of pizzerias that immediately take me back to Street Fighter arcade days. I used to play at my local pizza shop with my friends for hours after school.
