SUPERBROTHERS Dot Matrix Revolution

The SUPERBROTHERS have created a series of music videos with animations similar to what you’d find on a Commodore 64. In an interview with 8bit today Craig D. Adam, the founder of SUPERBROTHERS, mentioned that originally his intent was not design in pixel art, but when he “began exploring several methods of image-making … it had occurred to me that ‘audiovisually sophisticated’ did not necessarily require ‘technologically more complex’, and I could envision a style of retro pixel art that could be both startlingly fresh AND be relatively economical to deploy.”

You can read the full explanation from NASA on the NASA web site, but it was only a matter of time before Jesus made way for Pac-Man to become the hottest form of apparitions.

Bill Gates Doom 2 DirectX Windows 95 Video

This rare video was shown by Microsoft on 1995 when they announced their DirectX games for Windows support. DirectX was Microsoft’s way to woo developers like id Software to ditch DOS in favor of Windows for their game development platform. In it, Bill Gates carries a shot gun and blasts a DOOM Sargent to smithereens and says, “Don’t Interrupt Me.” Microsoft kept the tape after its showing.
