It is not enough to see Koreans adding spice to their lives with a little Salsa competition, but this couple takes it to another level when they combine Salsa dancing and good-ol’ Street Fighter cosplay. Living in Miami we’ve seen our share of incredible salsa dancers, but we’ve never seen anyone perform in a Ryu or Chun-Li outfit and throw-in Street Fighter moves while they were at it. Kudos to this couple for generating an insane audience response for their performance.

The world was recently abuzz about Andreas Heikaus’ video featuring a complete played-through of the original Super Mario Bros game on a sidewalk in a street on Hannover. The end result is something that can only be described as mind-blowing and people all over the net were wondering how did Andreas do it. Well, Andreas has updated his Vimeo page with a lengthy video explanation detailing the steps and the process, which should appeal to anyone who is studying film and editing or is just plain curious.

On his journey to exchange a broken iPhone 4, our fearless editor Wrecktify stumbled upon a Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect Demo at the Dadeland Macy’s in Miami Florida. He shot a couple of videos of the Kinect in action and it showed total fail with a lot of lag. We are attributing this mishap to improper calibration since everyone and their mommies are saying that Kinect is surprisingly snappy.

Microsoft finally unveiled Kinect at their E3 2010 conference yesterday. Kinect is their XBOX 360 motion-based answer to the Nintendo Wii. Some of the games announced at the press conference included:
While Kinect shows a lot of promise, in my opinion, Microsoft didn’t showcase a triple A title that can show what can be done with this new technology. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved did show off how your virtual self can be used within a game to control the menus, but there were no shooters, adventure, or RPG games to showoff how developers can use this tech to their advantage. Overall, the games aren’t too bad. Kinect Sports is Rare’s take on Wii Sports and knowing Rare they will take the concept a step further and with tight gameplay. Kinect is scheduled to be released this November 4th with rumors flying around that it will cost $149.
College Humor kinda sucks, but their latest bit about what Pac-Man Ghosts talk about while waiting is hilarious.
