Super Mario Wardrove T-Shirt

Talk about creativity! Albino Raven has kicked our ass with his t-shirt design over at Splitreason showcasing the world’s greatest plumber’s closet. Like anyone in our history who has been great, Albino decided to throw himself to the wolves: “The reason being that I had to come up with rules for what I should and shouldn’t include as part of Mario’s wardrobe. I wanted to include as many of his power-ups as possible, but the main rule I had to follow was that I couldn’t include things that actually transform Mario himself rather that just changing his wardrobe” he explains. Else he would have been chewed alive by the fan boys.

Simon Beltmon Pixel Painting by EvelMash

I’m a big fan of video game fan art. Admittedly most of it is terrible, but from time to tome you get something like EvelMash’s Simon Belmont oil on canvas pixel art (pictured above) and get taken aback by the sheer brilliance of the work. And even more impressive than the Simon Belmont piece is the Super Mario oil on canvas pixel art (pictured below). EvelMash managed to accentuate the Mario 8-bit sprite amidst a sea of scattered pixels. Bravo EvelMash.
