If you got a knack for the darker side of gaming, you’ll be hard-pressed to find something more rare or butt-crazy than Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the NES. This game is based on a hacked ROM created by Hosekn of USA Co, Ltd that looks and plays like you expect a game of this nature to play: like shit. You are limited enough as is, playing with the NES controller’s two buttons and digital pad, so add on top of that terrible animation and jerky gameplay controls and you are in for a treat.

Nintendo today announced that the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL will both be getting a price drop on September 12th. The Nintendo DSi’s suggested retail price will be $149.99 and the Nintendo DSi XL will be priced at $169.99. This means you will get to save some pennies so you can also get Golden Sun: Dark Dawn which Nintendo also announced will be launching on November 29th. Now if only we knew when the Nintendo 3DS is launching…
Metroid: Other M for Nintendo Wii launches this August 31st and Nintendo just released an amazing live-action US commercial for the game which you can view below! I already pre-ordered my copy, what are you waiting for? You can even grab a copy at Amazon.com and get a $20 game credit for a future video game purchase!
You are not really looking at some lost Virtual Boy version of Metroid Prime, but you are looking at Pixel Joint’s recent challenge to its members to re-envision something in Virtual Boy’s red and black look. The web site wanted to celebrate Virtual Boy’s recent 15th year anniversary in Japan the best way the know how and the web site’s members KILLED with their talent.

In Adventures in the Magic Kingdom for the NES you control a very anonymous kid who helps Mickey Mouse find the Golden Key lost by the clumsy Goofy inside the Magic Kingdom. To get to the Golden Key, you must first acquire six silver keys to unlock Cinderella’s Castle. To obtain the keys you complete stages modeled after classic rides in the Disney Theme Park.
Remember those old Nintendo World Championships from back in the days? When we used to compete against some of the best players in the country at Super Mario Kart, NBA Jam, and even Tetris? Well, it seems Nintendo hasn’t forgotten either and have recently announced the Wii Games Summer 2010 Tour. This time you will create your own team of badass players to go against other teams in games such as New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Sports Resorts, Wii Fit Plus, and Mario Kart Wii.
